The names and the text on the stone are entered\u00a0in an\u00a0Excel file\u00a0that\u00a0has been designed for the task.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Cemetery photography<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">To this day, close to 1100 Quebec cemeteries have been photographed\u00a0by Groupe-N\u00e9cro, for a total of over 600 000 tombstone pictures. This collection can be browsed with a subscription to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.genealogiequebec.com\/membership\/en\/tombstones\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">GenealogyQuebec.com<\/a>\u00a0in the \u201cObituary\u201d section.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/gallery.mailchimp.com\/2b0f8252c19c3cd9706a29323\/_compresseds\/666c2bff-ff7f-4b40-b6d5-41cd60506ac1.jpg\" width=\"512\" height=\"384\" data-file-id=\"1203457\" \/><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">We are looking for volunteers to photograph the remaining cemeteries in Quebec\u00a0as well as cemeteries in the eastern part of Ontario.<\/p>\n<p>For more information regarding cemetery photography and\u00a0genealogical data indexing, please contact S\u00e9bastien Robert at\u00a0<u>srobert@institutdrouin.com<\/u>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Obituaries<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Over 20 000 death notices have been added to our free obituary section since our last update.<br \/>\nThis section contains Canadian obituaries ranging from 1999 to this day.
