Moore, Marjorie Rose October 18, 1919 - February 20, 2018 Marjorie (Marge), 98, passed away peacefully on February 20, 2018 with her family at her side after a lengthy but feisty battle with lw-2Alzheimer's. Marge was born in the Vancouver lw0 General Hospital on October 18, 1919. She is survived by her husband of 72 years Ed, her two children Dave and Pam Brace (Les), two grandchildren Ryan Flynn (Amanda) and Daniel Flynn, and two great-grandchildren Matthew and Emmett Flynn, along with a brother George Cousins and a sister Moyra Yurkin. Marge graduated as a nurse at the New Westminster General Hospital. After marriage in 1945, she moved many times with her husband, living in Hyder Alaska, Revelstoke, Black Diamond, Medicine Hat, Stettler, Red Deer, Calgary and Edmonton. In sports, Marjorie loved golf and 5-pin bowling. She and her friends often took golf trips to various golf courses in southern Alberta. In 5-pin bowling won her way on the Calgary 5-Pin Bowling Team travelling to Saskatchewan, lw0 Winnipeg and the Lakehead in Ontario. Throughout the years, Marge and Ed travelled to numerous countries, took several cruises and spent a few weeks in Maui each winter. She also loved gardening, petti-point, knitting and was an avid reader up until the last few years. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
