Semrau, Clarence E. February 6, 1935 - Saskatchewan February 17, 2018 - Calgary, Alberta Clarence left this earth on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at the age of 83 years to be with his Lord and Saviour. He endured a long struggle with Parkinson's disease with dignity and strength. Clarence had always been a person to try new ventures and his work career took many paths. His first love was farming but he headed off in other directions to the Implement Dealers, Housing and Urban Development (HUDAC), building custom homes (TAMAR Homes) and finally owned a golf business - Golf Supply House. Clarence was very active in his church and was known for his giving and compassionate nature. He supported many church missions and charitable organizations. He was also an avid fisherman and golfer. For over 20 years until health issues prevailed he and Shirl spent winters in Arizona enjoying the warm weather and golfing and visiting with the many friends that they had there. He loved his children and grandchildren and always had time for them. Clarence will be dearly missed by his wife of sixty years Shirley Semrau (nee Unrath); his two daughters and sons-in-law Tammara and Dave Cross, Maureen and Craig Moody; and his grandchildren Michelle and Bennett Moody. Funeral Services will be held at Grace Baptist Church (2670 Radcliffe Drive S. E., Calgary, AB) on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Reception to follow.
