Braile, Eugenio August 28, 1940 - March 29, 2019 It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Eugenio (Gino) Braile at home at the age of 78 years. His memory will be forever cherished by his children: Anna Braile (James Cummings), Gina Braile, Lisa Reagan all of Calgary, and Rosina Binder of BC; and his granddaughter Mackenzie Braile along with eight additional grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Gino will be lovingly remembered by his brothers Armando Braile and John Braile; the mother of his children Michelle Errett; his best friends Joe George and Chantel Obert; and his son-in-law Spencer Ehlert. He was predeceased by his brothers Luigi Braile in Italy and Carmen Braile in Belgium. Gino was born in Cosenza, Italy on August 28, 1940. He came to Canada at the age of 17 where he began his long career with the City of Calgary under Parks and Recreation Department. Gino enjoyed tending to his garden in the spring and summer, and making wine in the fall. He was also a trophy winner in shuffle board. In his down time, Gino spent much time with his best friend Joe George. He loved life and his family, and made the most out of everything and every minute. A Prayer Service will be held at Mountain View Funeral Home (Prairie View Chapel, 1605 100 Street SE, Calgary) on Thursday, April 4, 2019, at 7:00 p.m. with a Funeral Service held at the same location on Friday, April 5, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. followed by interment at Mountain View Memorial Gardens.
