Lohse, Olga January 29, 1923 - January 8, 2018 Olga's family is saddened to announce that Olga passed away in Calgary on January 8, 2018, a few weeks short of her 95th birthday. Olga was predeceased by her husband, Ervin, in June 2005. Olga was born in Gladbeck, Germany and immigrated to Canada with her family in 1929. She lived in Southern Saskatchewan before and after marrying Ervin in 1939. They moved to Calgary in 1971. Family and friends were important to Olga. She especially loved time spent at Tim's visiting with friends over coffee. Olga was an excellent homemaker and cook. She loved music, dancing and travel. Olga is survived by daughters, June (Ralph) Melnick, Donna Moger and Bev (Matt) Kozun. A special thank you to Olga's friend and companion, Linda Kyler, for her unwavering support. Also, special thanks to Dr. S. Davies and the caring staff of Chartwell Eau Claire Care Residence for their kindness and compassion. A Celebration of Life will be held for Olga on Thursday, March 22, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the Centre Street Church Chapel, Central Campus, 3900-2nd Street NE, Calgary AB.
