Picard, Izola Dazzy August 2, 1931 - March 11, 2018 When someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure. Izola left us on March 11, 2018 on a sunny evening, after a long and difficult day to join the love of her life, Albert Picard (predeceased on November 28, 1994). Izola is survived by her sister Sally Iverson, 3 daughters and their spouses, Karen and Dan, Laurie and David, Alyson and Blair, 9 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren (predeceased by Bailey, 2012) and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She leaves all those that knew her with an abundance of funny stories and the memory of her ability to share a quick witted one liner when you would least expect it. She had a big beautiful smile and a one-of-a-kind sense of humour. Izola enjoyed watching curling, figure skating, and her granddaughters' baseball games. She will be missed. A memorial service will be held on March 24, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Burkeview Chapel 1340 Dominion Avenue Port Coquitlam, BC. In lieu of flowers, by Izola's request, please make donations in her honour to Canadian Blood Services 4750 Oak Street, Vancouver, BC V6H 2N9 or www.blood.ca Funeral Home First Memorial Funeral Services Burkeview Chapel 1340 Dominion Ave Port Coquitlam, BC V3B8G7 (604) 944-4128 Published in Vancouver Sun and/or The Province on Mar. 18, 2018
