Fisher, Muriel Caroline Passed away peacefully at the age of 100 on March 10, 2018. Muriel was predeceased by her husband Ernest Fisher, son Mike Fisher and grandson Michael Fisher. She is survived by her daughter Penny Fisher Baker (Mike) and son Paul Fisher (Ann) and her grandchildren Shannon Kinvig (David), Jeff Baker (Michelle) Luke Baker (Jennifer) Becky Garneau (George) Jacqueline Fisher-Hallanjaku (Arian), Scott Fisher, Greg Fisher, nephew Stuart Gibson and 11 great-grandchildren. Muriel was born February 14, 1918 in Scotland but grew up in London, England. She married Ernest in 1941 and after serving in WW2 as a WAF she immigrated to Victoria in 1948. Muriel loved life, having fun, and loved her family and friends. She enjoyed watching Figure Skating, Tennis and Curling. She also loved her G&T's, might be the secret to her longevity! She will be missed by so many people. A big thank you to Dr. Tom Rimmer in Duncan for taking such wonderful care of Muriel. And to the staff at Ts'i'ts'uwatul' Lelum Assisted Living in Duncan for making her last 2 years a happy time. Muriel enjoyed her own celebration of life at her 100th birthday party February 11, 2018, where she was surrounded by many friends and family who shared many laughs.
