Lilliane Antoinette Manaigre (nee Petit) It is with heavy hearts and sadness that we said goodbye to our beautiful mother Lilliane, on March 16, 2018. She was born in Isle des Chenes on June 16, 1932 and attended school there also. She will be profoundly missed by her children, Diane (Chet), Roger (Gisele), Pauline (Garry), Gerald, Marcel, grand-children Dominique (Joe), Stefan, Sylvie, Andrzej, Alain, Max, and her great-granddaughter and petite poule, Elise, special niece Celine Petit. She will also be missed by her brother Gilbert (Noella), in-laws Romeo (Thérèse) Manaigre, Lucille and Laurette Manaigre. She was predeceased by her husband Edouard in 2013 of 59 years, her parents, Emile and Bertha Petit, her brothers, Lucien, Raymond, Roger, in-laws Rose (Come) Dugas, Albert Lacroix Her family was always first for her and she never had a day go by that she didn't worry about what was going on in their lives and how she could help them. She taught us the importance of family, love and the value of hard work to achieve our goals and dreams. Mom was co-ower and operator Manaigre Store/Manaigre Transfer with her husband Edouard for over 45 years in Lorette. They loved their town and all of the people there and created some great friendships. She had a mischievous and cunning personality and always loved a great joke played on others especially if it was by herself. Throughout her last year journey, we would like to thank all the staff and friends that were at Le Pavillion (Villa Youville) which was her last residence who helped and spent time with her. To our angels Romeo, Thérèse, Denise Manaigre at La Manoire De la Cathedrale, the Silver Linings Care Group and to Dr. R. Josh Gruninger, April, and all of the wonderful and caring staff on the first floor at the Bethesda Hospital in Steinbach. We appreciated everything that you did for our mother. A celebration of life will be held at the Paroisse Notre-Dame de Lorette Parish Church in Lorette, MB on Friday, March 23. Eulogy will be held at 10 30 a.m. with the celebrating mass to follow. Interment to follow at a later date. Desjardins in care of arrangements. As published in the Winnipeg Free Press on Mar 17, 2018
