Anita Kossmann Peacefully in Peterborough, Ontario on March 18, 2018 in her 96th year. Predeceased by her husband Henry in 1998 and her son Rainer in 2005. Survived by her children, Anne, Karsten, and Wilbur (Annette). Fondly remembered by Maureen, Denise, Don, and Bob. Lovingly remembered by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Anita was born in Germany and immigrated with her family to Winnipeg in 1959. She enjoyed creating a good home life for her loved ones. Being a wonderful seamstress, many days were spent making clothes for her family. Anita was an avid conversationalist, talking the ear off anybody that would listen, as she had many wonderful stories to tell. She had a unique sense of humour that everyone enjoyed. Living on Bonner Avenue for 43 years, she took great pride in maintaining the beautiful gardens that they had created. She made the best soup and we shall miss her. Burial at Glen Eden Cemetery on March 25 at 2:00 p.m. Memorial donations in memory of Anita may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation. As published in the Winnipeg Free Press on Mar 22, 2018
