Henry Thatcher James 1927-2019 Henry T. James of Harvey, York County, NB passed away March 1, 2019 at Wauklehegan Manor, McAdam, NB. Born at Hyannis Port, Massachusetts in 1927, he was a son of the late G. Clifford and Bessie H. (Mowatt) James. Henry was an electrician by trade. He was a member of the Loyal Orange Lodge, an Honorary Elder of the Session of Knox Presbyterian Church and enjoyed singing in the choir. Henry enjoyed spending his summers at his cottage at Oromocto Lake, fishing, boating and enjoying time with family and friends. He had a great love of animals which was evident with the wide variety of animals that resided with him at home. He is survived by his daughters, Barb Hatfield (Hal), Hanwell, NB, Deanna James, McAdam, NB and Marilyn Jamieson (Robert), Harvey, NB; a step-son, Dwight Moffatt, Harvey, NB; his grandchildren, Matthew Webb (Heather), Jessica James (Jonny), Devon James, Connell Jamieson, Abby and Madison Jamieson, Austin Jamieson and Jennifer Boyd (James); his great grandchildren, Ethan, Quinn, Jayden, Carson, Alexis, Kade, Lana and Anthony; a sister, Ada Seely, St. Stephen, NB; a son-in-law, Merlyn Webb, Fredericton, NB; a daughter-in-law, Laurie James, Fort McMurray, AB and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Henry was predeceased by his first wife, Pauline I. (Rutherford) James, his second wife, Leona G. (Moffatt) James; his children, Cheryl Webb, Eleanor, Sheila, Errol and Laurie James and a sister, Viola Leonard. Visiting hours will be held at Swan Funeral Chapel, 1826 Route 3, Harvey Station, NB on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral service will be held at Knox Presbyterian Church, 2412 Route 3, Harvey Station, NB at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 6, 2019 with Rev. Anne Boudreau officiating. Interment will be at a later date at Harvey Settlement Cemetery.
