Griffin, Malcolm - It is with great sadness that we mourn the loss of our loving father, grandfather and husband Malcolm Griffin. He died peacefully at the age of 79 in Kingston Ontario on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 after a long battle with cancer His wife, three sons and one of his grandchildren were at his side and celebrating his life. Born in 1939, in Auckland New Zealand, Malcolm was the beloved husband of Sharon Thompson and father to Matthew (Britta), Daniel (Kim), and Timothy (Cora). He is survived by his sister Helen Saxton and many other relatives in New Zealand, the land of his birth. Malcolm was the grandfather of Theo, Odile, Evelyn, Tessa, Vivian, Emanuel, Mari and Alora who live spread across Canada and in Germany and all of whom will miss him greatly. We are grateful for Malcolm's commitment to his family, his passion for teaching, and his efforts to protect the environment. We will miss his inquisitive mind, his zest for life and his compassionate concern for justice. In lieu of flowers and in recognition of Malcolm's environmental commitments, memorial contributions may be made to Eco Justice, Land Conservancy KFLA or the charity of your choice. The family will honour Malcolm and celebrate his life during a non-denominational ceremony at Crossroads United Church to which all are welcome. 690 Sir John A.
