Brown, Roy Albert Of RR#7 St. Thomas, passed away peacefully at the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital on Monday, April 1st, 2019, at the age of 88 years. Beloved husband and best friends of almost 60 years of Marilyn Grace (Marr) Brown. Dearly loved father of Leone (Late Tom Morrison), Nathan (Christine), Alison DeBuck (Marcel), Lois VanOverberghe (Luc) and Martin (Jenny). Dear brother of Morley Brown (late Jean), late Stewart Brown (Dorothy), late Clarence Brown (Connie) and late Margaret Dann (late Gordon) and brother-in-law of Bud and Melba Marr. Lovingly remembered by grandchildren, Morgan, Jordan, Carmen (Kurtis), Devin (Jared), Clara (Jeffrey), Avery, Isaac, Benjamin, Samantha and William and 3 great grandsons, Mason, Maverick and Bentley as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Roy was born in St. Thomas on March 13th, 1931, son of the late George and Thirza (McCloy) Brown. He was a retired dairy farmer. Roy was a member of Frome United Church and a member of St. Thomas Freemasonry, Warren Lodge 120, Fingal. He was also a member of the School House Square Dancers, Lambeth. Resting at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin Street, St. Thomas where visitation will be held on Thursday, April 4th from 4-6pm and 7-9pm. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Friday, April 5th at 3:30pm. Private interment in McArthur Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Parkinson's Foundation or V. O.
