Lewis, Ray Died peacefully with his family by his side on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at Bluewater Health, Sarnia. The son of the late Jack and Olive Lewis, Ray Lewis, of Wyoming and formerly of Oil Springs, was in his 91st year. He will be missed by his wife Helen (Cole) (nee Saunders). He will be missed by his step-sons Wayne Cole and Cathy Hishon, Rick and Debbie Cole, and Stephen and Meghan Cole and his six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He was a brother to Audrey (the late Doug) Blackwood, and an uncle to Joanne Johnson and her family. He was predeceased by his step-daughter Cheryl Anne (1971) and a brother Bill Lewis (1993). Ray farmed for many years before moving to Wyoming in 2010, he also retired as a welder from CIL in Courtright. In his spare time Ray loved fishing, hunting, and baseball. Visitors will be received at the Wyoming Baptist Church, 484 Broadway St., Wyoming on Thursday May 9, 2019 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral service will he held on Friday, May 10, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Wyoming Baptist Church. Cremation will follow, with interment at Oil Springs Cemetery at later date.
