Gerald Gerry Argue of Cove, SK passed away on Monday, March 4, 2019 at the age of 86 years with Shawna and Kent by his side. He was predeceased by his wife Wilma Argue (Hutton); grandpets Tinker Belle, Spritz, Kitty and Jetta; parents Roy and Doris Argue; parents-in-law Jack and Ruth Hutton; sister Glee Chadwick; sisters-in-law Nadia Argue and Ruth Argue; brothers-in-law Norm Chadwick and Bob Hutton; and nephews Dennis and Tracy Argue. Left to cherish his memory are his daughter Shawna (Kent); special friend Gonnie and her son Jamie (Leann); brothers Blair (Marj) and Harold; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Gerry was born in Rouleau, SK and grew up in Wilcox. Upon graduating high school, he moved to Regina where he worked with the Saskatchewan Power Corporation in a variety of roles for 34 years until his retirement in 1985. Once retired, he moved to his beloved cottage at Cove where he spent his days tinkering on a variety of projects. He was the Mayor of the Resort Village of Cove for over 40 years and liked to spend his days there sitting on the deck where he could watch the comings and goings on both the road and the lake. Family and friends wishing to spend some time reminiscing with Shawna and Kent are asked to attend a COME and GO GATHERING at their home on Friday, March 8, 2019 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. A private interment will be held at a later date and a Celebration of Life will be held at Cove in the summer of 2019. In lieu of flowers, family and friends so wishing may make donations in Gerry's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan, 1738 Quebec Avenue Unit 26, Saskatoon, SK S7K 1V9.
