Chanmany, Keo February 5, 1949 - April 1, 2019 On April 1, 2019 surrounded by his family at St. Paul's Hospital, he was carried into heaven. Keo is survived by his son, Sangsathit (wife Lisa, children: Tamyka, Jayden and Josephine); daughter Anna Ditablan (husband Mark, children: Aria, Anton and Andre). Born in Laos, on February 5, 1949, Keo was the oldest of 12 children. He arrived in Hepburn, SK in the winter of 1979 as a refugee with his wife and son. Trained as a math professor, Keo was driven to teach again in Canada. While taking English classes and trying to upgrade his degree - Keo became a baker with Traeger's Bakery in Saskatoon. As his first job in Canada, the owner Klaus became his mentor and in 2015, Keo became the owner of Traeger's Bakery with his family. Despite his quiet demeanor, Keo was devoted to his family and close friends - including many volunteer activities promoting Lao culture and supporting newcomers to Canada. Keo cherished moments with his wife of over 40 years, children and delighted with joy spending time with his six grandchildren. He will always be remembered as a gentle and kind soul - we love you and will miss you.
