Rudolph, Garry November 17, 1944-April 2, 2019 With heavy hearts, we are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Garry Rudolph on Tuesday, April 2, 2019. He passed away peacefully in his home at Turtle Lake, SK. Full obituary and funeral arrangements to follow. Published on April 4, 2019 in The Star Phoenix, Saskatoon, SK --- Rudolph, Garry With heavy hearts, we are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Garry Leslie Rudolph on Tuesday, April 2, 2019. He passed away peacefully in his home at Turtle Lake, SK. Garry was born on November 17, 1944 in Rosthern, SK to John and Emma (Krydor). Garry grew up in Saskatoon where he met and married the love of his life, Gwen (Meakin) Rudolph. He drove truck for Aero Delivery for a few years until he started with STC in 1976. He drove bus for many years until he retired in 2004. Garry was known as the iconic bus driver, always had a smile on his face and made many great friends throughout the years. He is survived by his wife, Gwen; children, Jeff (Stacey Bortnak) and Angela (Brad Ginther); grandchildren, Emma and Matthew Ginther and Stacey's son, Brandon; brothers, Ron and John Rudolph; sisters, Sylvia Love, Ann Weigel, Doreen Sonneborn and Sandy Sawatsky; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his brother, Doug Rudolph. Garry truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures, chatting, snacking and spending time with friends and family. He was fun loving and would help anyone in any way he could. In his retirement years Garry loved to golf with his buddies at the Mervin Golf Course also known as the Breakfast Club. Family, friends and others whose lives Garry touched are invited to Hillcrest Funeral Home, 210 Wess Road, on Thursday, April 11, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. to reminisce, grieve and celebrate Garry's life.
