I don't fully understand the PRDH results for immigrants that show their origin in France.

Ex: Pierre Valliere

Baptism: st-pierre, v. segonzac, ev. saintes, angoumois (ar. cognac, charente)

I believe St-Pierre is church and Segonzac is the location of the church. What does v. represent? What does ev. represent? and what does ar. represent?
