Carol Dianne MacKenzie November 24, 1951 - February 1, 2019 (age 67) It is with heavy hearts that the family of Carol Dianne MacKenzie announce her passing which occurred at Bobby's Hospice, surrounded by her loving family on Friday February 1, 2019. Born in Saint John November 24, 1951 she was the daughter of the late Walter F. and Elizabeth Joyce (Holden) McCutcheon. Carol was a loving and devoted wife, mother and Nana. She always made all who entered her home feel welcome. Carol loved her family and friends especially her Nashville Girls and Bingo buddies. She will be remembered for her love of Lady Bugs, Bingo and her beautiful nails. Carol is survived by her loving husband of 40 years Lee MacKenzie of Grandbay-Westfield; son Jay MacKenzie (Sarah) of Saint John; daughter Jaime London (Jason) of Grandbay-Westfield; step-son Christopher MacKenzie of Halifax; precious grandchildren Mackenzie, Emma-Elizabeth, Carson and Jack; brothers Brian McCutcheon of Saint John, and Gordon McCutcheon (Brenda) of Truro, NS; sisters Linda DeSaulniers (Edward) of Grandbay-Westfield and Rose Smith (Ron) of Smithtown, NB; brother-in-law Kendall MacKenzie (Mildred) of Kentville, NS; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends. Along with her parents, Carol was predeceased by her brother Reginald McCutcheon. Arrangements are under the direction of the Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) By request cremation has taken place. A celebration of Carol's life will take place. Time and date to be announce by Monday. In lieu of flowers donations in Carol's memory can be made to Bobby's Hospice.
